Introduce
Due to the widespread application of portable electronic devices and the evaluation of
microelectronic technologies, power dissipation has become an important parameter
in the design of low-power VLSI circuits.
Because the circuit complexity and high speed of new VLSI technologies mean significant
increases in power consumption, optimization is required at all levels of the design process
to increase power, area reduction and speed.
Therefore, the VLSI Design Lab studies various design methods
to implement low-power design concepts.
